Paul Zolfaghari is currently a member of Sisense's Board of Directors and Managing Director with Carrick Capital Partners, a growth oriented PE firm. Prior to joining Carrick in 2016, Mr. Zolfaghari had a fourteen year career at MicroStrategy serving in a number of exective roles, including President, Executive Vice-President, Worldwide Sales & Operations, SVP of Business Affairs, and Corporate Chief of Staff. Over his extensive tenure at MicroStrategy, Mr. Zolfaghari developed and implemented many key components of its strategic plan while overseeing all elements of its operations. Mr. Zolfaghari also previously served as Chief Operating Officer of ParAccel, the analytic database company that is the technological foundation for Amazon's Redshift enterprise datawarehouse and was acquired by Actian in 2013. As COO for ParAccel, Mr. Zolfaghari was responsible for improving revenue, market share, and operating results. Prior to his career in analytics and enterprise software, Mr. Zolfaghari was an attorney in Washington DC, both in private practice and with the U.S. Department of Justice. Mr. Zolfaghari is a frequent public speaker on analytics, technology, software trends, and corporate operations, including interviews with the Wall Street Journal, the New Yorker Magazine, USA Today, CIO Magazine, Washington Business Journal, Information Week, and PC Magazine.
